Lechia Game or Concert at Polsat Plus Arena? Where to Stay in Letnica
Mint Apartments – 5 minutes from Polsat Plus Arena Gdansk. Check parking, transport & check-in times before booking for a match or concert in Poland.
Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk hosts over 20 events annually — Lechia matches, concerts (Sanah, Enrique Iglesias, Dawid Podsiadło, Andrea Bocelli in 2026), and trade fairs at nearby AmberExpo.
Choosing an apartment in Letnica instead of a hotel downtown saves you 2–3 hours daily on transport.
Why Letnica is the most convenient base
The stadium is located in the heart of a district. Our apartments in Letnica are 400–700 meters on foot — which means:
- After a concert, you return on foot, with the crowd going the same way — no 200 zł taxis, no traffic jams
- Before a match, you have 15 minutes to get there instead of an hour from another district
- You can drop by your place during breaks (double-header matches, multi-stage festivals)

What to Check When Booking for an Event
1. Check-in / Check-out Times vs Event Time
Our standard check-in is from 3:00 PM, but for evening events we can arrange earlier check-in for a small fee. Please mention this when booking.
2. Number of Guests
Our apartments in Letnica accommodate 2–4 people. Larger group? We can book adjacent apartments for your whole team.
3. Parking
Letnica has closed streets around the stadium on match days. If you’re driving, check which of our apartments offers private parking (not all do) — book those with parking.
4. Return Transport
Sunday at 11:00 PM after the match, the tram is still running. Line 10 (Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk stop) runs regularly until around 11:00–11:30 PM, and after the match ZTM adds a free special line 7 straight from the stadium. From Letnica to Gdańsk Główny main station — 15 minutes. To Sopot by SKM — 20 minutes.
How much does a night in Letnica cost?
Prices start from 176 zł/night (one-bedroom apartment, low season). During matches or concerts, prices increase by 20–40%, so book at least one month in advance for major events. For comparison:
- 4-star hotel near the stadium: 450–600 zł/night, small space, no kitchen
- Mint apartment: 280–440 zł/night during peak season, 80 m², full kitchen, parking
- AirBnB in Letnica: 350–500 zł/night + fees, unpredictable service
Apartments in Letnica we recommend

→ Mint Apartments Premium Seaside — balcony on the 3rd floor, view of Letnica and surroundings

Practical Tips for Match Day
- Car Parking — arrive at least 3 hours before the match or use an apartment with parking
- Pre-Match Restaurants — Foodhall Doki (10-minute tram ride) has more seating than anything in Letnica on match day
- Tram Ticket — trams are crowded on match days; buy your ticket in advance via the “Jakdojade” app
- After the Match — some bars in Letnica stay open until 2:00, but Żabka and Carrefour stores close at 23:00. Shop earlier.

Practical Guide for Match and Concert Days
You already know that Letnica is the best base. Now here are the details that make your event day comfortable:
Stands at Lechia Matches:
- Stand B (East) — loud, young fans, energetic support throughout the 90 minutes. Choose if you want atmosphere.
- Stand A (Main) — families, quieter fans, better view of the pitch. More expensive tickets.
- Stand C — visitors’ section (far from center).
Where to Eat Before the Match:
- T29 Restaurant & Sports Pub (inside the stadium) — largest sports pub in Poland, packed 2 hours before kickoff.
- Bistro w Letnicy — several spots along ul. Starowiejskiej and Letnickiej, shorter queues than right by the stadium.
- Food Hall Montownia DOKI — 10 minutes by tram, lots of space, a dozen options. Best choice if you’re arriving 2–3 hours before kickoff.
Parking:
- Free parking at AmberExpo (about 800 meters from the stadium) — fills up 3 hours before major events.
- Paid parking directly at the stadium (approx. 30 zł) — reservations via the official Polsat Plus Arena website.
- Mint apartment with private parking: leave your car and walk — most convenient option.
Transport After the Concert: Tram line 10 departs regularly from the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk stop. On concert days, ZTM adds a free special line 7 (trips from the stadium to the city center) plus a free SKM shuttle train from Gdańsk Główny to Gdańsk Stadion Expo. Tips: wait 25–30 minutes after the event (first wave crowds are large), Bolt/Uber surge pricing is 2–3x during this time — not worth booking immediately after.
What to Bring to the Event:
- ID (required for alcohol purchases)
- Power bank (evening matches and 3-hour concerts drain your battery fast)
- Light rain jacket — Gdańsk has unpredictable weather year-round, and the stadium is open-air

Frequently asked questions
- How long does a typical concert at Polsat Plus Arena Gdansk last?
- The main concert typically starts around 8:00–9:00 PM and lasts 1.5 to 2.5 hours. With big artists (Sanah, Andrea Bocelli), there are sometimes breaks and encores—total duration can extend to 11:00–11:30 PM. After the concert, allow an additional 20–30 minutes to exit the stadium with the crowd, unless you live just 400 meters from the exit like our guests.
- Are there lockers or baggage storage facilities at the stadium?
- Polsat Plus Arena has a limited number of lockers available at the entrances—accessible for a small fee. During major events, they fill up quickly, so arrive with plenty of time to spare. The most convenient solution: leave your luggage at the apartment, just 400–700 meters from the entrance, and walk back.
- Is alcohol available during the Lechia Gdańsk match?
- At football matches in Poland, alcohol consumption is prohibited on the stands—according to regulations on public event safety. At commercial concerts, alcohol is typically available in designated food and beverage areas within the venue. Details are provided by the organizer in each event’s rules.
- Do children under 4 years old get in free to matches and concerts?
- For Lechii Gdańsk matches, children under 3 (without their own seat) enter free of charge. For commercial concerts, entry rules for children are set by the organizers—typically children up to 3 or 4 years old can enter free on a parent's lap, but always check the specific event’s terms and conditions.
- How to get back to the city center after a late-night concert?
- Tram line 10 runs regularly from the Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk stop, usually until around 11:00–11:30 PM, and after that the stop is served by night bus N12. After matches and big concerts, ZTM also adds a free special line 7 — trips straight from the stadium to the city center, on event days only. After major events it can get crowded for the first 20–30 minutes—wait a bit or use Bolt/Uber (surge pricing applies during this time). The best solution: an apartment in Letnica, 400–700 meters walk from the stadium, with no tram needed at all.
