Frequently asked questions
- When is the Open'er Festival 2026 taking place?
- Open'er Festival 2026 took place from July 1 to 4 at the former Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport (Babie Doły), about 25 km from Gdańsk. It's the largest music festival in northern Poland—past headliners have included Ed Sheeran, Travis Scott, and The 1975. Organizers run free festival buses from Gdynia Główna; alternatively, take the SKM to Gdynia Redłowo station and continue from there. Tickets are available at openerfestival.pl—consider buying in advance during pre-sale.
- Does the Mystic Festival have press and photography accreditations?
- The Mystic Festival (a metal festival at the Gdańsk Shipyard, usually in June) handles media and photography accreditation through a dedicated form on the festival website. Applications typically close 4–6 weeks before the event. Details are available at mysticfestival.pl — accreditation information is posted after the full line-up is announced.
- How can I buy tickets for the Solidarity Concert on June 4?
- Solidarity Concert (Gdansk, June 4, anniversary of the '89 elections) is a cultural and patriotic event organized at the European Solidarity Centre (ECS). Some tickets are free or distributed by ECS, while others are sold for a fee via eBilet or Ticketmaster. Follow announcements from the European Solidarity Centre (ecs.gda.pl) — updates typically appear 6–8 weeks before the date.
- Does AmberExpo in Gdansk have its own ticket office and parking?
- AmberExpo Gdańsk has a ticket office at the main entrance—open during trade fairs from morning. For industry events (Mediar, Baltic Book Fair), tickets are often purchased in advance from the organizer. Parking at AmberExpo is paid but fills up quickly during major fairs—an alternative is our [apartments in Seaside Letnica](/en/lokalizacje/seaside), 300 meters from AmberExpo with private parking.
- How far in advance should I book an apartment for the Dominican Fair?
- Jarmark Dominikański (July 25 – August 16) is one of our busiest periods—apartments in the city center (Bastion Wałowa) and Seaside fill up 2–3 months before the event starts. If you're planning a stay during this time, book in May or earlier. Prices during this period are seasonal—higher than off-peak but still lower than on Booking.com or Airbnb.
